Terms of use
Effective October 17, 2026. These terms apply to Recapped, Door a Day and Moments Left.
Licence
The apps are licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. That agreement governs your use of the apps. Where these terms add to it, these terms apply on top.
Purchases and refunds
Recapped unlocks everything with a one-time purchase of $4.99 (introductory price $3.99 until December 7, 2026). There is no subscription and no trial. Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple too: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. To get your purchase back on a new phone, tap Restore purchases on the unlock screen.
Your photos
Your photos stay yours. Recapped analyses them on your iPhone and does not receive them. See the privacy policy.
Acceptable use for links you send
You can send a Crossed Paths link to friends. Send it only to people who would expect it. Do not use links to harass anyone, to send spam, or to share anything unlawful. Do not try to alter links to read other people's data or to disrupt the website.
Results are automatic
Counts, rankings and the photo of the year are computed automatically and can be wrong or not to your taste. Treat them as a starting point.

The apps and this website are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version.
